Air Supply blew the roof off of Sony Hall tonight, playing to a standing room only packed to capacity crowd in NYC. The audience was so enthusiastic that it felt as if they were playing to 20,000 people in a huge arena. Guitarist/singer Graham Russell and Singer Russel Hitchcock did not disappoint anyone and it was a show that was a “Greatest Hits” with everyone knowing every word to every song they performed.
Singing hits “Lost in Love,” “All Out Of Love” “Making Love Out of Nothing At All” and “The One That You Love,” couples were embracing one another while others danced the night away. With cell phones high in the air, you could hear the fans singing along to each song, delighting both Mr. Russell and Mr. Hitchcock.
Air Supply have been performing together for 40 years and they are as tight as ever, sounding just as great as they did on vinyl.
If you want a show that is a greatest hits of songs you will know and sing along with, this is a concert not to be missed. Make sure you don’t miss this tour:
