Sebastian Bach -Starland Ballroom -Sayreville NJ 11-2-24
The Starland Ballroom hosted a homecoming concert on November 2nd with “BACH ON THE ROAD” Tour featuring Sebastian Bach and his band. They setup camp in New Jersey for the evening.
Sebastian called NJ his home for 16 years before leaving for LA. He hasn’t played the Garden State in six years, so the crowd was more than ready when he hit the stage at 9:30.
He opened the show with his new hit single, “What Do I Got to Lose?” and the high energy crowd ate it up. “Slave to the Grind” was next and with Bach swinging that microphone over his head. like he wanted to lasso the crowd-it was pandemonium in Jersey.
The next 14 songs were a mix of Skid Row tunes along side 3 solo songs. In between the songs, Sebastian told some great stories of his time he spent in Jersey. It was great listening to him tell them, like only Sebastian can.
There was a moment in the middle of “Monkey Business” where he pays tribute to musicians that have passed away. Sometimes he would sing a verse or two of their famous songs. He acknowledged the drummer Neil Peart from the band “Rush” and then the whole band went into the song “Tom Sawyer.” It was awesome, and did I mention his son Paris is the drummer and he was spectacular.
The tour is not to be missed. Sebastian is sounding amazing. The setlist is killer. The band is fire. Everything you want in a “Live” Rock show and more!!
