Sammy Hagar-The Best of All Worlds Tour-PNC Bank Arts Center -NJ

What can I say that I haven’t all ready said about him. I’ll say this-Sammy Hagar just brings Joy.
The Best of All Worlds Tour stopped in New Jersey this week. It’s a small run of dates here in the US and then off to the UK for another small run of shows.
This stop had him playing an 18 song setlist of goodies. Van Halen, solo, Montrose was all in the mix. It was heavy on VH material, and rightly so. That is what everyone wants to hear, the great Joe Santriani play. The riffs that Eddie came up with, that Joe has played to perfection.
Michael Anthony is still killing it on the bass and vocals. Kenny Aronoff is a beast on the drums. And new comer on the keyboard and vocals is Nathan Mercado.
There are songs that you know that mean something to you. There are songs that just make you happy or sad. And then there are songs that bring you back to a time or place that you so want to go back to. In 18 songs Sammy takes you to it all and that’s something that is hard to do. I loved this tour from its inception. Well it’s just like I said, pure joy.
Sammy always use to close out his shows with saying “I’ll see you in Cabo”.
Well I’m closing this review out with saying.
I’ll see you in London!!!
