Emo Night Brooklyn 10-Year Anniversary – Brooklyn Paramount in New York, NY

Emo Night Brooklyn sold out their 10-Year Anniversary show at the Brooklyn Paramount in New York. Fans packed the beautiful venue to celebrate Emo and Pop Punk music. The night featured multiple DJ sets curated by music legends from many bands.

The night kicked off with a pump up set by Emo Night Brooklyn founders Alex Badanes and Ethan Maccoby. They were followed by The Gunz Show who DJed a short set. The first guest set of the night was curated by Derek DiScanio of State Champs and Chris Freeman of Hot Mulligan. They brought the crowd to the next level and had them headbanging along to some epic classics. In between some of the sets there were happy anniversary messages from members of other bands that have worked with Emo Night Brooklyn in the past including Anberlin and Mayday Parade.

Forest Kline of Hellogoodbye was the next to take the stage with a super vibey set including an effects microphone and an unreleased original song. Forest was followed by Kevin “Pac Sun” Kaine the drummer for Knocked Loose and Ken Vasoli of the Starting Line. They were followed by a surprise performance by Fred Mascherino the former guitarist of Taking Back Sunday.

John C. O’Callaghan V of The Maine and Daisy Grenade (Keaton Whittaker and Dani Nigro) were next. John snuck Daisy Grenade’s “How to Hide a Body” into the set and had them perform along the track. Kellin Quinn of Sleeping with Sirens was up next. The second he took the stage crowd surfers started coming over the barricade like a waterfall. He sang along with multiple Sleeping with Sirens songs and more. The last guest of the night was Cobra Starship’s Gabe Saporta. The night closed out with a set from Emo Night Brooklyn DJs Dan Burke and Jordan Corman.
