Yungblud returned to Atlanta with a dynamic performance at Atlanta’s historic Tabernacle with opener Sawyer Hill. Built as a church in 1911, The Tabernacle held sanctuary for the 28 year old rising star (born Dominic Harrison) promoting his third EP “Yungblud” which reached #1 on the UK Album Charts.
Exploding onto the stage like an unstoppable force of nature, Yungblud opened the show with the energetic “Hello Heaven, Hello” getting the crowd fueled for 9 minutes straight making it very clear we were in for a memorable show. Backed by his tight band including Silke Blansjaar (bass/guitar), Adam Warrington (guitar), and Ben Sharp (drums) Yungblud held the audience resolutely captive while delivering the hits that’s catapulting him to super stardom. Following “Hello Heaven, Hello” Yungblud immersed the sold-out, standing room only crowd with “The Funeral,” “Idols Pt1,” “Lovesick Lullabye,” “Strawberry Lipstick,” “Fleabag,” and “Lowlife,” before covering Black Sabbath’s “Changes,” paying homage to his friend, mentor, and recently lost Prince of Darkness himself, Ozzy Osborne. Finishing out the set with “Fire,” “Monday Murder,” “Tin Pan Boy,” “braindead!,” and “Loner” he then closed the show with encores “Ghosts,” and “Zombies” leaving his flock exalted and wanting more.
