Young & Out Of Love Tour Featuring: Blake Proehl, Kaibrienne, Haven Madison, and KAYKO – The Meadows in Brooklyn, NY November 14th
Fans of all ages joined at The Meadows in Brooklyn, NY on Thursday, November 14th for the Young & Out Of Love Tour featuring: Blake Proehl, Kaibrienne, Haven Madison, and KAYKO. The crowd revisited some of their favorite moments from the past 2 seasons of American Idol.
Former football player Blake Proehl kicked off the night with performances of “Forever” and “Closure.” He then sang “Waves” and discussed how this song explains his relationship with God after an injury that ended his NFL dreams. Haven Madison joined him on stage for a duet cover of Taylor Swift’s “Love Story.” Kayko also came out to play guitar for a few songs. Blake then performed an unreleased song he wrote for his Nana. His penultimate song was a throwback to his American Idol audition; a cover of Brett Young’s “In Case You Didn’t Know.”
Blake closed out his set with a performance of his latest single “Crazy Stupid Love.”
Kaibrienne then took the stage. Despite feeling under the weather her performance was phenomenal. Her set began with “Devil in the Details” and “teach you how to love me.” She then sang two unreleased songs “Replace Me” and “Bigger Man.” Kaibrienne performed her song “Girl I Am Now,” a deeply personal letter to her younger self. She ended with her newest single “Walk Away.”
Haven Madison began her set with a rocking performance of Stevie Nicks’ “Edge of Seventeen.” She then sang “Kiss the Ground” and her American Idol audition song “15.” Her set also included performances of “Sky Up” and multiple unreleased songs including “Castle” and “I Jog.” Haven finished her set with her unreleased single “F U Cupid.”
KAYKO headlined the night and kicked off his set with a soulful cover of Gotye’s “Somebody That I Used to Know.” He followed that up with “What If,” “Michigan,” and “Poser.” KAYKO then took a request from the crowd and mashed up “Hope” and “Lie to Me.” He told the crowd that both songs were actually written about the relationship from different perspectives. His set also included a fun cover compilation. KAYKO then sang “How to Live Without You,” a song about coping with the loss of his mother. He ended the set on a high energy note with “Time of Your Life.”
