The Fab Faux – Music of the Beatles The Wellmont Theater, Montclair, NJ

The mystical music of the Beatles was brought to the Wellmont Theater on Friday, June 24th by five of the most talented musicians performing above and beyond a typical Beatles tribute band. No props, just all about the music. The Fab Faux was formed in 1998 by bassist Will Lee who was soon joined by Jimmy Vivino on guitar, Rich Pagano on drums, Frank Agnello on guitar and multi-instrumentalist Jack Petruzzelli. All five contributed vocally throughout the night. Their show was further enhanced with support from the four-piece Hogshead Horns and The Creme Tangerine Strings creating an experience not to be missed.

The show opened with Taxman and continued for one 24-song set which included favorites such as Day Tripper, Nowhere Man, Ticket to Ride, While My Guitar Gently Weeps, Yellow Submarine, Penny Lane and Got to Get You Into My Life. But of course, that wasn’t the end of the show. The Fab Faux returned for a high energy encore of two additional songs – Let It Be and Twist and Shout. Everyone was up and out of their seats twisting and shouting to end the night.
