Sandra Bernhard played to a packed house this past Tuesday night for her smash performance at City Winery. She came on stage in a one-piece suit with a psychedelic design from the 60’s era- proving definitively she’s still got it. Bernhard, best known for her portrayal of the feisty best friend Nancy on the hit-show “Roseanne” serenaded the audience in both Hebrew and English. Included in her performance was a practice run for a song she says she will be singing with Barry Manilow on stage at Radio City Music Hall the following evening. After the song finished, she continued to fire out one-liners, talk about her youth, and other funny stories about life.
Her show was truly enjoyable-an unforgettable night that passed far too quickly.
