Sammy Hagar’s Cabo Birthday Bash 10-07-25
I was one of the lucky 400 attendees at Sammy Hagar’s Cabo Birthday Bash. He was playing four dates this year.-October 7,9,11, and 13,and I was at show one, October 7th. He throws this party every year in his Cabo Wabo Cantina. Redheads (his fans) from all over the world try to score a golden ticket to these shows. Like I said I was a night one. Along with Sammy, Michael Anthony was on Bass. Kenny Aronoff on drums, and Vic Johnson on guitar. He had two special guests. Jerry Cantrell and Zach Throne. It’s special seeing Sammy there. I wish every Sammy fan could experience it. It’s not just the show but everyone you meet waiting in line to get in. It’s the people you meet at the hotel you’re staying at. It’s the staff at the Wabo, you get to see again. It’s the drinks inside the cantina. It’s just a very special experience and I tried to capture that for you. Sammy sings “If you go there once, you’ll be there twice”!! The lyrics to “Cabo Wabo” song by Van Halen. Trust me it’s true!!
