Cuban-American performer, Pitbull, together with his “hot, hot” squad of dancers took the stage, this morning, at Good Morning America’s Summer Concert Series and packed Rumsey Field in Central Park. With his high energy showmanship and dance production numbers, that combine Spanish rap with dance music, he infused the park with a dance party atmosphere. He generously stayed after the show was over and performed two additional numbers and received thunderous applause from his audience.
Pitbull has worked with every major star: Shakira, Enrique Iglesias, Marc Anthony, Christina Aguilera, Lil Jon and Kesha. He co-wrote with Jennifer Lopez and Claudia Leitte, “We Are One” (Ole Ola), the official song of the 2014 FIFA World Cup. He has a lucrative association with various brands and products: the “So Kodak” campaign with Drake and Rihanna; Dr. Pepper; Budweiser; Walmart and owns an equity position in Voli Vodla and Miami Subs. Pitbull launched a Sirius radio channel “Pitbull’s Globalization Radio” in 2015 and helped established a tuition-fee public charter school in Miami.
