I can’t express enough the appreciation I have for PARALANDRA after watching them throw down a scorching set at The Ardmore Music Hall in Ardmore, PA on Saturday May 25th, 2019.
Watching them set up (in 10 minutes), run a sound check, dress, come out and deliver a killer set like that is no easy task but they did it with surgical precision. You never realize how much work goes into a show, staff of the venue included.
They played songs from their “Ascension” album “Back to Life” one of my favorites and ending with “Killer Queen” while the audience ate it up. A quick thank you to the band for playing that cover song I requested. (Queensryche, “ I don’t believe in love”)
I was blown away by the energy, confidence and comfortable feeling of this band, as I had a chance to briefly chat with some band members before the show. If you get a chance to see them do not miss the opportunity. Cassandra Carson (vocals, guitar) her vocal range is amazing, along with Paul Carson (guitar, vocals), Dakota Watson (drums, vocals) and Sawyer Rickard on bass, this is a tight band.
