Nu Music Night at the legendary Horseshoe Tavern featured a jazz/soul instrumental group from the Toronto area called Five and Tens (named for where they live-near the intersection of two area highways). Guitarist Ray Vidal showed that his chops match his winning smile.
Following the smooth sounds from the western edge of Toronto came the pop-punk sound of a quartet from the north end called Talking In Our Sleep. Very young, but energetic and possessing the potential to be good musicians, they had a lot of fun and engaged the audience well.
