Night Ranger Bergen PAC April 4, 2025

For over 40 years, Night Ranger has been rockin’ and rolling thru the decades. Formed in the early 80’s, they hit the scene with a blend of pop, rock, dueling guitars and power ballad radio hits. Brad Gillis had a moment filling in for the late Randy Rhodes with Ozzy Osbourne early in his career and Jack Blades fronted the power house Damn Yankees in the 90’s, but they found their way back to keep their band moving forward.
Saturday night was no different as the fans at Bergen PAC were on their feet supporting Jack Blades and company in a 14 song parade of Night Ranger classics with a little splash of some Damn Yankee songs mixed in as well.

The band, featuring Blades on vocals and bass along with original members, Kelly Keagy on drum and Brad Gillis on guitar are accompanied by Keri Kelli on guitar and Eric Levy on keyboards. Together they played a tight set of 80’s and 90’s rock and roll as they seemed to really enjoy what they do. Smiling, interacting with each other and the crowd throughout the night making it all look to easy.

Opening the show with This Boy Needs to Rock, they blitz through Night Ranger classics like Four in the Morning, Sing me Away, Don’t Tell Me You Love Me and Sister Christian. They also played Coming of Age and Come Again/High Enough from the Jack Blades/Damn Yankee catalog. In the 90’s every time you turned on your radio, you were more likely than not to hear one of those songs. The crowd was singing along and dancing in the aisles all night and seemed to be enjoying every bit of the show.

Night Ranger is a very successful blast from the past who did not disappoint tonight.
