Wolfgang Van Halen, with band in tow took a little detour in advance of his band’s performance at Summer of ’99 and Beyond Festival last Friday to Gurnee Illinois to do a radio Q&A at 95wiilrock. The broadcast was followed by a short acoustic performance in front of several hundred fans that attended the mid-afternoon session that included two songs from their new album which they had never publicly performed. Wolfgang and the band chatted briefly with fans before heading back across the border to Wisconsin for their festival appearance.
