Don’t Forget Me Tour Part II

Maggie Rogers played her first-ever arena headline show at the Moody Center in Austin, Texas on October 9, 2024, and it was an absolute blast watching her bask in her accomplishment. She had a smile on her face for nearly all of the show and continually reminded the crowd how much fun she was having and how grateful she was to be on her first-ever arena tour.
The show started with a poetic montage on the screen and then Rogers rose out of the stage wearing the sparkliest cloak I have ever seen. After performing “That’s Where I Am” she removed the cloak, revealing a new mesh outfit. The crowd went wild.
She dedicated “Love You For A Long Time” to anyone who watched her play at SXSW at 7 a.m. in 2017.
She played her new song “In The Living Room” live for the first time which she described as her attempt at the perfect karaoke song. I’d say her attempt was a success!
Before playing “I Still Do” at her piano, Rogers talked to the audience. She shared that she attended Usher’s concert at the Moody Center the night before and pointed out where she sat. She also told a funny story about meeting Usher after falling and ripping her pants at a roller skating party.
“I’m going to play an old song in a new way,” said Rogers, leading into a lovely rendition of “Alaska.”
During “Light On” white confetti flew through the air. It was so exciting, I have never seen Rogers use confetti at a show.
She wrapped up the show with “Don’t Forget Me,” a fitting closer for the second leg of the Don’t Forget Me Tour.
Maggie Rogers puts on an unforgettable show. She has such a unique voice and an electric stage presence. With her incredible talent and energy, this won’t be her last arena tour. I’m looking forward to seeing where her journey takes her next.
