Keith Urban – High and Alive World Tour – Hershey, PA – 10/2/2025

Keith Urban rolled on into the Giant Center in Hershey, PA along with opening support from the next generation of up and coming country music artists Karley Scott Collins, Alana Springsteen and Chase Matthew. The performances began with Karley Scott Collins performing a 5-song set. Opening with “Bad bad”, her set also included “Easy to leave”, “Denim”, “Quit You” and “Cowboy Sh!t”. She is definitely a rising talent owning her moments on stage and warming up the crowd.

 

Songwriter and performer Alana Springsteen took the stage next. Almost immediately she had a high level of fan engagement moving toward the crowd, interacting and letting her humor show through. I was fortunate to also photograph her a few years ago in New Jersey. Her vocal strength has grown as well as her versatility and stage presence. She performed an 8-song set which included “You Don’t Deserve a Country Song”, “look i like”, “ghost in my guitar”, “cowboys and tequila”, “goodbye looks good on you” and a Carrie Underwood cover of “Before He Cheats”. Alana Springsteen is also a star on the rise. She clearly enjoys being on stage, connecting with the audience, and continues to grow as a performer.

 

One more opener before Keith Urban took the stage was Chase Matthew, also a singer-songwriter from Nashville. He has the country sound and injects his rock influences into his music as demonstrated by including some ACDC in his performance. Chase and his band know how to bring the energy, connect with the crowd and deliver the fun! He performed a 6-song set which included “Drives My Truck”, “Pull Up”, “Darlin'”, “County Line”, “Back in Black/Give It Away/You Shook Me All Night Long” and “Love You Again”. Chase and the band definitely know  how to warm up the audience all while have a good time!

 

Just before 9pm, Keith Urban took the stage following a silhouetted curtain drop of himself and his band members. Opening with “Straight Line” and “Where the Blacktop Ends”, he leaned into classics and newer material with some surprises and covers sprikled in. Performing on a B-Stage (smaller platform) towards the back of the arena, he covered “Pink Pony Club” and performed “You’ll Think of Me”. In total, the performance included a 19-song set with a 4-song encore. 

 

Urban and his boyish swagger moved across the various stages, all the while interacting with the fans and balancing big production moments with more intimate ones. His guitar playing remains a highlight (also noted by Alana Springsteen crediting him for teaching her how to play guitar when she was younger). He balances technical guitar moments with crowd-pleasing energy. His connection with the crowd leaves a lasting impression. Delivering a strong mix of nostalgia and new energy, he proves he hasn’t lost touch and can still rock a crowd!
