Julie Eigenberg

Treat yourself to a delightful evening with accomplished cabaret performer, Julie Eigenberg. Attractive and charming, Julie  weaves her talent through originals, such as her signature Grammy winning “Why Not ! (which garnered a Grammy for the Manhattan Transfer); familiar songs, “The Song is Ended”  by Irving Berlin, “No More Blues” and “Bridges” (“for all us dreamers”) as well as “That’s Who You Really Are” arranged and enhanced in a bossa nova tempo by pianist Yoichi Uzeki.  (Yoichi performed on the historical 2010  recording session with  Jamaaldeen Tacuma and Ornette Coleman.) Performing with Julie is award winning bassist,  Alex Blake whose distinct  style of  strumming, rapid lyrical notations and percussive slaps on bass draws his devoted fans again and again and sets him apart from other musicians.

Julie will be performing Dec. 16 at City Vineyard with Richard Miller on guitar and Everton Isidoro on percussion.
