Halestorm kicked off the summer concert season at the Hollywood Casino at Penn National Race Course in Grantville, PA on Saturday, May 16th. And what a jump start this was!! This Pennsylvania-based hard rock, heavy metal band returned to their home state accompanied by Hinder and Small Town Titans. Vocalist/guitarist Lzzy Hale, drummer Arejay Hale, guitarist Joe Hottinger and bassist Josh Smith brought a show that was one for the books.
The fiery, hometown-proud performance was full of energy and crowd interaction. Lzzy was commanding in her presence, balancing her powerful vocals and emotional intensity, while the band performed newer material and fan favorites with sharp musicianship.

Support from rock bands Small Town Titans (also from PA) and Hinder helped to create a full night of rock momentum from start to finish. Hinder performed a 7-song set which included the Collective Soul cover “Shine” and hit “Lips of an Angel” with a sing-a-long from the crowd. A brief rain during their set didn’t dampen the mood at all. Opener Small Town Titans performed a 6-song set which included the Michael Jackson cover “Black or White”. Both performances made a great start to a night of live music!
