FLO RIDA
Flo Rida, an American rapper, who radiates non-stop electric energy, performed for the second year in a row at the Fox & Friends All-American Summer BBQ and Concert Series on June 26, 2025. The packed audience at Fox Square went wild as he jumped on stage yelling “Party, Party!” at 8 a.m. They immediately connected with him and he was relentlessly entertaining. He threw roses, fake money and his sunglasses out to the cheering crowd. He brought a young fan on stage to sing and dance with him and adorned him with the necklace he was wearing. He removed his sneakers, autographed them and handed them to his fans.
The audience gave him their continuous attention for more than an hour. Before and after the concert, he mingled, took selfies, and signed autographs. This concert series is also a barbecue so he posed for photos with the grillers. They in turn, brought a giant Tomahawk rib roast on stage for him to taste. This incited thunderous applause from the audience when he took a bite.
Not to be “outdone” by a rib roast, Flo Rida sprayed champagne at his band and the crowd. The Fox & Friends news anchors, Chanley Painter and Todd Piro, joined the revery for a raucous rendition of Flo Rida’s 2015 hit, “My House”. At one point, Todd Piro grabbed a microphone and joined in on the chorus while Chanley Painter danced with the performers on stage.
Backed up by his dance squad and his band of guitars, keyboards and drums, he brought on various vocal performers. Most notably, was Oya Baby, a multi-talented artist who is newly signed to Flo Rida’s record label. The energy and joy was palpable as they performed a playlist of at least ten songs from his four albums, Mail on Sunday (2008); R.O.O.T.S. (2009); Only One Flo (Part 1) (2010) and Wild Ones (2012). Flo Rida has sold over 80 million records worldwide and fans are eagerly awaiting his fifth album.
