Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band

We were treated to two concerts by Bruce Springsteen & the E Street Band this week. Energetic shows with varied setlists that reflected poignantly on current events as the shows bookended Election Day in the USA.
The first show (pre-election) opened with “She’s The One”, which many claimed was a nod to his candidate of choice. Post-election, show number two began with a trio of songs that spoke volumes, “Long Walk Home”, “Land of Hope and Dreams”, and “Lonesome Day”. All three together, plus the 25 or so that followed were a masterclass in mixed emotions. Hope and despair, delivered in equal measure, somehow left one eager to move forward with a positive attitude in spite of the difficult road that lay ahead.
My nephew, Logan came to the show. 16 years old, at his first concert of any kind, he got a harmonica and guitar pick from Bruce, plus a turn at the camera that produced one of the pics in this gallery.
