The Wonder Bar, in Asbury Park, New Jersey, scored “BIG” this past Friday when Brandon “Taz” Niederauer made his Asbury Park debut at a 9:30 pm set. Known for his “ferocious” guitar playing, “Taz” made his guitar “scream” in a non-stop set of classic blues. He was equally “at home” performing a cover of “Blackbird” (McCartney/Lennon). Brandon “Taz” Niederauer has experienced a meteoric rise in his career in a few short years. By the time he emerged, as the 15 year old “wunderkind”, from Broadway’s “School of Rock”, his talent quickly caught the attention of the greats, Gregg Allman, Oteil Burnbridge, Buddy Guy, Lady Gaga, Slash, Dr. John and John Baptiste; and, soon he was playing with many of these living legends. The musical imprint of his heros, Hendrix and The Allman Brothers is clear in his intros and and guitar riffs. Brandon “Taz” Niederauer is where he should be, out front where he can showcase his original songs, “Let Your Soul Be Free”, My Revival” and “Find a Way” and develop his own distinct style. Band Members: Brandon “Taz” Niederauer, lead vocals and guitar; Mat Godfrey, guitar; Kendall Lentz, drums; Matt Fox, bass
Welcome to Asbury Park “Taz” !!
