Blondie’s Debbie Harry is still going strong as the night at Forest Hills Stadium, Forest Hills, NY started off with her upbeat music. With her dark sunglasses and hat she joked about the sun in her eyes exclaiming “We are night people.” That didn’t stop her from singing her classics including “Call Me,” “Rapture,” “The Tide is High,” and “One Way or Another.” She said they had to keep the set short because of the curfew but that didn’t stop her from a costume change or from performing an encore of “dreaming.” The other talented musicians in the band, Chris Stein (keys), Clem Burke (drums), Leigh Foxx (bass), Matt Katz-Bohen (keyboards), Tommy Kessler (keys) kept it fun and sounding great.
All this was just the beginning as she opened for Elvis Costello. Click here to see that review and photos.
