Antigone Rising & Melissa Ferrick, plus Natalia Zukerman, Trina Hamlin performed at the legendaryhttps://bitterend.com/about/ on June 24th.
The magical evening was full of positive energy, great vibes and a completely enthusiastic crowd of long time fans.
This intimate setting was the perfect place to see these artists up close and enjoy their great diversity of music to a sold out show.
Melissa Ferrick, a singer-songwriter, whose music has been in my own collection for decades, completely blew me away.
A “The Bitter End” alumni told the entertaining story of starting out there 30 years ago.
Ferrick was funny, charming, and an amazing songwriter with a golden edgy voice.
Ferrick has an upcoming show at the Loft at City Winery on Sunday August 13th at 7:30 PM.
Antigone Rising, a rock group from NYC.
This band with it’s stellar vocals and musicians, performed a rockin’ show!
One could feel the fondness, appreciation and passion the audience felt for this talented band.
On their website they wrote:
Through their nonprofit, Girls Rising, Antigone Rising is mentoring and empowering young girls and LGBTQ kids to be all they can be through outreaches and an annual music festival.
Natalia Zuckerman is another artist I have also seen before.
The New Yorker magazine said, “Natalia’s voice could send an orchid into bloom while her guitar playing can open a beer bottle with its teeth.”
