James Mastro (Bongos, Ian Hunter) & The Gold Stars To Play Mercury Lounge w/ The SilosHoboken-based rock/Americana singer-songwriter-guitarist James Mastro (Bongos, Ian Hunter) will perform at the Mercury Lounge on Sunday, December 7th to play songs from his recent full-length debut solo album, Dawn of a New Error.
James will be joined by his rockin’ band,The Gold Stars – Tony Shanahan (Patti Smith) on bass, Dennis Diken (The Smithereens) on drums, Chris Robertson on guitar, and Megan Reilly on back-up vocals and guitar. Showtime is at 5:00, followed by the Silos at 6:00 pm.

will perform on Thursday, December 11 at the Factory Underground in Norwalk, CT with her stellar band, The Sequins – Trina Hamlin on harmonica (Susan Werner), Andy Mac on drums ( Pete Muller and the Kindred Souls), and Dave Eggar on cello (Paul Simon) – where she will play songs from her new full-length studio album, Canopy. Showtime is at 7:00 pm, with musicians Karen Zimmer & Galianna opening. The special event is an album release show that will benefit women starting a career as singers, musicians and/or producers and will be set to a backdrop of Sage’s original paintings.
