You’ll be amazed at how beautiful the park looks after dark, who is there and how dynamic the lights look. We will show you techniques to help you achieve striking photos and to help you experiment if you have your own ideas. We welcome all photography levels (beginner to advanced). Suggested techniques include long exposures, painting with light, camera movement, flash use, etc.
The workshop will take place in Central Park after dark. Our meeting spot will be sent upon payment. Rain or shine.
Requirements and Equipment Needs: You must sign up in advance. Prior knowledge of photography is recommended but not necessary. You will need a digital camera (point and shoot or DSLR) with manual controls, a tripod and a flashlight. Optional equipment: a cable release and external flash. In case of inclement weather, umbrella and plastic to cover cameras, etc.
